47 SOUTHGATE AVENUE, CANNON HILL
The brief posed
a challenge as the building had to house a national textile distributor’s
Brisbane warehouse and showroom into a space just over half their previous footprint. Through the use of simple, modern glazed forms
contrasted with sharp metallic screens and a feature, multi-coloured glazed sunscreen
a layered textural form has been created. This building surpassed its many challenges to add a unique character to
the overall theme of the Southgate Corporate Park.
