This building was designed to be the
state administration and distribution centre for a large national retailer and
although the building covers an enormous area it conceals a quite complicated
and well-designed environmental solution. Articulation of various building elements provides both harmony through
the play of light and shade and rhythmic patterns. The combination of these
elements has resulted in a building that is not only well designed, but
functional and cost effective.
