UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND - GATTON CAMPUS ROOM 106 REFURBISHMENT

This project is the refurbishment of an existing 1970’s vintage, brick and concrete, 206 seat auditorium space into a state of the art learning environment. The design sought to capitalise on the opportunities of the original building by stripping away the past inadequacies and integrating a new layer of modern design solutions and materials.  The most impressive of these installations was the motorised structural truss which allows services to be quickly, safely and efficiently lowered for maintenance.
