KENT HOUSE
The brief
from the client was to transform a tired looking Queenslander into a modern
family home. Through clever design
solutions and a refined palette of materials and colour a cohesive balance was
created between the old and the new. The
original architectural features and upper level layout were maintained to
capture the history of the residence.
The lower level was converted into a large open plan space which flowed
into the covered outdoor living space and the backyard beyond.
