The client requested this bespoke building for Coles to provide a modern and purposeful addition to the retail centre at Phillip Island. By establishing a powerful entry statement which included a layered transparent awning structure and a distinctive metal roof feature installation, the building addresses the intersection of two busy roads. The modern feel of the building is further reinforced through a simple palette of contemporary building materials which form a refined textural overlay.
