The brief
for this service centre was to design a statement destination for the local
area which could be visible from the adjacent highway. The large outdoor covered walkway provides a focal
point for the service centre which is bookended by a major fuel retailer and a
well-known fast food chain. A modest
palette of materials and colours assists in connecting the three parts into a
cohesive design solution.
